Web design for Flintshire and Denbighshire

Websites that get North Wales businesses found and booked

Someone in Rhyl picks up their phone, searches for what you do, and finds somebody else. For most small businesses round here, that is the moment the website stops being a someday job.

We build websites for small businesses and private practices across Flintshire and Denbighshire, set up to be found on Google from the day they go live.

You have managed fine on word of mouth

And it has probably served you well for years. Most of the businesses we work with have never needed to advertise.

It only becomes a problem when someone new to the area, or someone whose usual person has retired, reaches for their phone instead of asking a neighbour. They search, they scroll as far as the first few results, and they book whoever turns up. If that is not you, you never hear about it. There is no missed call to return.

That is the gap a website fills. Not a brochure. Something that puts you in front of the person who is already looking for you.

Who we work with on this patch

  • Private practitioners

Podiatrists, chiropodists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and counsellors. This is where most of our work is, and where we know the ground best: how patients search, and how to ask for reviews without falling foul of your regulator's rules.

  • Tradespeople

Carpenters, plumbers, electricians and the like. Different job to a practice website. You are usually being judged on your last ten jobs rather than your qualifications, so the site is built round showing the work and making it easy to ask for a quote.

  • Independent retailers and local services

Smaller sites, same principle. Someone searching for what you sell is usually halfway to buying it already. The job is to turn up when they look, make it obvious what you do and where you are, and make getting in touch easy rather than a hunt for a phone number.

How people actually search round here

Almost nobody types "podiatrist". They type "chiropodist holywell", or "podiatrist near me", or they open Google Maps and look at what is close.

That matters, because it changes how a site should be built. A single page listing everything you do will not answer any of those searches well. A page per service, written the way people describe the problem rather than the way you would write it on a clinic wall, will.

It also means your Google Business Profile is doing at least as much work as the website. Get the category wrong, leave the hours out of date, or never verify it, and you are invisible on the map regardless of how good the site looks.

Where we work

Flintshire and the Denbighshire coast. Flint, Mold and Holywell, out to Rhyl, Prestatyn, St Asaph and Dyserth, and the villages between them.

We are based in Chester, not on the coast. That is close enough to come and see you, sit down properly and get the thing started, which is how nearly every build here begins. It is not close enough to pretend we are your neighbour, and being a local designer would not make the work better anyway. What makes the difference is knowing how people search for a business like yours, and building round that.

A real example, in Holywell

Linda Pearson has been practising for 29 years. She is HCPC registered, a Fellow of the Institute of Podiatrists, and spent ten years as the Institute's president. She had never had a website.

We built her a full site, an online booking-request form, and set up her Google Business Profile from scratch.

Within the first five days of the site going live in July 2026, it was appearing in local searches including "chiropodist holywell" and "podiatrist near me", averaging position 3.9 across 34 Search Console impressions.

That is a small number of impressions and we are not going to dress it up as more than it is. It is five days of data. What it shows is that the approach works in this exact market, in a town of this size, for a practitioner with no prior online presence.

"Since working with First Site Studio, I have received enquiries from multiple new patients who have found me through the website or Google My Business. I am excited to be able to have my business's first website and was very happy with how quickly the site was created and is being maintained."

What it costs

Websites from £550

Care from £45 a month, required for the first three months

No VAT to add

After the first three months Care is monthly rolling at the same £45, and you can stop whenever you like.

The reason it is not optional is simple. A site that nobody hosts, backs up or updates stops working within a year, and then it is our name on something broken. Three months covers the period where most problems show up.

Care, £45 a month. UK hosting and SSL, your domain registered in your name, daily backups, security updates, uptime monitoring and a monthly check that your enquiry form still works.

Complete, £135 a month. Everything in Care, plus Google Business Profile management, review generation, local search work and a monthly report showing what actually came in.

Paying upfront. Take the build and six months of Care together and two of those months are free. £730 instead of £820. If you leave early having prepaid, we refund the months you have not used.

Common questions

How long does it take?

About a fortnight from the point we have your content, assuming we are not waiting on photos or text from your end.

I only use Facebook at the moment. Is that not enough?

It works right up until it does not. A Facebook page does not show up when someone searches for your service on Google, you do not control what is put in front of your followers, and you cannot take it with you. It is a good place to talk to people who already know you. It is a poor place to be found by people who do not.

Why is my business not showing on Google Maps?

Usually one of five things: the profile was never verified, the category is wrong, your name, address and phone number are inconsistent across the web, the profile is half filled in, or there are no reviews. All five are fixable and none of them cost anything to fix.

Do I own the site?

Yes. The domain is registered in your name, and if you ever leave you get everything handed over. Nothing is held back.
